One price per organization
Same product on every plan. Different ceilings.
One flat price for the whole organization, monthly or yearly, billed through Stripe. Inviting your team never changes the bill. What changes as you move up is how much of the workflow you get and how much of it you can fill — not which product you are using.

Need something a plan does not cover?
Business already lifts every limit. If what you need is something else — a contract of your own, a procurement process, or answers before anybody enters a card — write to us, and we will tell you plainly what Mergua does today and what it does not.
In every plan
The product does not get worse further down.
There is no plan with a cheaper editor, a slower export or a smaller set of languages. These are the same on the free tier as on Business.
The whole editor
Source text and translation side by side, filters, and a placeholder check per cell as you type — before anything is saved, on every plan.
Your files, unchanged
Nested JSON, flat JSON and ARB. Flat and nested keys are detected on import, and a language split across several files stays split.
Over 100 locales
Add the languages you ship in. There is no plan that charges per language, only ones that cap how many you can have open at once.
AI translation
Fill the empty cells with a machine draft and edit it in place. Every plan has a monthly allowance; what differs is its size.
Team and roles
Invite by email, with the same four roles everywhere: owner, maintainer, translator, viewer. What the plan caps is how many people, not what they can do — and none of them costs extra.
Downloads, always
Export a locale or the whole project from the UI on any plan. The API, the sync script, MCP and webhooks are what start at the first paid one.
Choosing
Which one to start on.
Upgrading takes effect the moment the payment goes through, and downgrading at the end of the month you already paid for. So the answer here is only ever a starting point.
- Free
- You are translating one app on your own, or working out whether the loop fits your pipeline before anything else.
- Starter
- You want translations to arrive through CI rather than by hand, and nobody needs a branch of them yet.
- Pro
- You ship features on branches, and somebody other than you writes the translations for them.
- Business
- Several products, a key list nobody has counted in a while, and an AI allowance you would rather not think about.
Billing
How the money part works.
One price per organization
A plan costs the same whether two people use it or ten. Inviting someone or removing them never changes the bill — the plan caps how many members you can have, and moving up is how you get more.
Monthly or yearly, and reversible
Pay per month, or per year and save up to 20%. An upgrade is active the moment the payment goes through; a downgrade, a switch back to monthly and a cancellation take effect at the end of the period you have already paid for — on a yearly plan, the end of that year.
Stripe holds the card
Payments run through Stripe, and past invoices and payment methods live in their customer portal — reachable from your organization settings.
A limit is a ceiling, not a wipe
Over one, you cannot add new items until you upgrade or free some up. Nothing you already have is deleted, including after a downgrade.
Questions
Asked before signing up.
The rest, grouped by topic, live in the docs.
All billing questions- Can I try paid features before upgrading?
- The Free plan lets you explore the core product. API access, the sync script, MCP and webhooks start on Starter; branches and the review workflow are available on Pro and Business.
- Can I pay yearly instead of monthly?
- Yes. Pro and Business can be billed yearly at a lower price per month, and the pricing page shows the saving. You can switch in either direction from the billing portal; a yearly plan cancelled midway stays active until the year you paid for ends.
- What happens if I exceed my plan limits?
- You'll see a notification when approaching limits. Existing data is never deleted — you just can't add new items until you upgrade or free up space.
- Can I downgrade my plan?
- Yes, you can downgrade at any time from Organization Settings. The downgrade takes effect at the end of the current billing period. If your usage exceeds the lower plan limits, you will need to reduce usage before the downgrade activates.
- How do I cancel my subscription?
- Go to Organization Settings and click Cancel subscription. Your paid features remain active until the end of the current billing period, then your organization reverts to the Free plan.
- Where can I find my invoices?
- Invoices are available through the Stripe customer portal, accessible from Organization Settings.
